OSU aerospace students repeat as international champs

Independent teams representing OSU’s School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering captured first and second places in the AIAA Student Design/Build/Fly Competition for the second consecutive year. Sponsored by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Cessna, and the Office of Naval Research, the contest at Patuxent River Naval Air Station, Maryland, featured 44 university teams from the United States, Canada, Italy, Israel and Turkey.

OSU program named nation's top fire service organization

The Congressional Fire Services Institute, a nonprofit, nonpartisan policy think tank that advises Congress on fire and life safety issues, has named the International Fire Service Training Association/Oklahoma State University Fire Protection Publications the 2005 Fire Service Organization of the Year.
