OSU to demolish Power Plant built in 1948

Oklahoma State University is closing the chapter on a significant piece of campus history as demolition begins on the university’s former Power Plant, constructed in 1948.

New year-round topiary joins OSU-Stillwater campus

Oklahoma State University has many notable topiaries around campus including a cowboy boot and hat as well as people lined up signing “O-S-U” outside Old Central. This fall, a bison joined campus with a few new features allowing it to stay out year-round. A topiary is foliage that has been trimmed and shaped into an object.

On April 23, a Remembrance Garden will open to once again bring significance to the area. A special remembrance service will also take place to honor students and employees who have passed away in the past year.
