CEAT faculty and staff honored at two university award celebrations

Oklahoma State University recognized outstanding faculty and staff achievements during two major events this week: the annual University Awards Convocation on Dec. 9, 2025, and the Staff Advisory Council Distinguished Service Awards banquet on Dec. 11, 2025. Members of the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology were prominently represented at both ceremonies.

More Clout, Less Drought: Jiang's NSF research looks to bring digital agriculture from soil to STEM

Dr. Zheyu Jiang, an assistant professor in the School of Chemical Engineering, specializes in AI and digital agriculture, and is undertaking a research project to lessen the impacts of drought in the U.S., which experiences an estimated loss of $30 billion annually. For these efforts, Jiang has been awarded the CAREER Award from the National Science Foundation.
