CEAT Hall of Fame to welcome computer, construction entrepreneurs

Oklahoma construction magnate James Cummins and Gordon E. Eubanks Jr., a Silicon Valley pioneer and software industry guru, will be honored during a ceremony at 6 p.m. in the Wes Watkins Center. They bring the number of distinguished professionals to 76 inductees recognized by CEAT since its Hall of Fame was established in 1954.

OSU aerospace students repeat as international champs

Independent teams representing OSU’s School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering captured first and second places in the AIAA Student Design/Build/Fly Competition for the second consecutive year. Sponsored by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Cessna, and the Office of Naval Research, the contest at Patuxent River Naval Air Station, Maryland, featured 44 university teams from the United States, Canada, Italy, Israel and Turkey.
