Oklahoma State University’s Grain Entrapment Prevention and Rescue Team is taking their mission to educate and save lives to the national stage. Carol Jones, a professor of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering at OSU, presented at the Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS) Exchange 2019 in New Orleans, Louisiana on March 9-12.

Today, that foundation is becoming the focus, with initiatives including drone usage and the opioid crisis being designated for focused investment and growth in the coming years. Student excellence in Industrial Engineering and Management

Many students who enter the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology’s School of Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM) at Oklahoma State University have excelled in prior educational experiences, allowing them to enter college with the prestige of being named National Merit and CEAT Scholars. Three of which, Ryne Garrison, Kylie Dowers and Jay Eischen, are OSU CEAT students who have taken advantage of what IEM has to offer within their first year in college.

Kristal Soderstrom Junkens and Sarah Ayres, College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology Student Services Advisors, won the Best of State designation for their presentations during the Oklahoma Academic Advising Association (OACADA) Fall Conference in October 2018. Industrial Assessment Center at Oklahoma State University celebrates 1,000th Industrial Assessment milestone

On Dec. 4, 2018, OSU celebrated its 1,000th industrial assessment/energy audit milestone performed by OSU’s Industrial Assessment Center (IAC). IAC team members, acting and retired faculty, OSU administrators, officials from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Rutgers University, and Wichita State University gathered at CEAT’s newest undergraduate laboratory, ENDEAVOR, to celebrate. The industrial assessment/energy audit was performed the following day at ASCO Aerospace.
