Sydney Stewart awarded Fulbright for research in Germany

Sydney Stewart, an undergraduate student at Oklahoma State University, has been awarded a Fulbright U.S. Student Award to conduct research in Germany during the 2017-2018 academic year. The Fulbright program places U.S. students in countries around the world where they act as an ambassador for the United States, work with research advisers, and learn about the people and culture.

Crop planting intentions highlight land-use changes

STILLWATER, Okla. – The end-of-March 2017 wheat planted acreage numbers decreased 8.2 percent from one year ago at 46.1 million acres, driven by poor wheat prices and following a general trend of decreasing wheat acreage resulting in the lowest all-wheat-planted acreage totals since 1909.
