OSU Ag Tailgate promotes ‘Ag is Big in Oklahoma’

Approximately 200 Oklahoma State University Ferguson College of Agriculture faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends gathered on the Monroe Courtyard of Agricultural Hall to celebrate OSU Agriculture’s impact on the state, region and nation. The OSU Foundation partnered with OSU Agriculture to host the Agriculture Tailgate on Oct. 11, before the Cowboy football game against the Houston Cougars.

Oklahoma State University will honor five individuals who have brought distinctive credit to the university’s Ferguson College of Agriculture and contributed significantly to society. Shannon Angle, Bill Clymer, Robert Hodgen, M. John Kane and N. Malone Mitchell Jr. are recipients of the 2025 Distinguished Alumni Award. The honorees will be officially recognized during the OSU Agriculture Honors ceremony on Oct. 3.

OSU Agriculture names 2025 Champions

Oklahoma State University will honor two individuals this fall who have demonstrated a commitment to agricultural sciences and natural resources. Thomas and Rhonda Coon are the 2025 Champion for OSU Agriculture Award recipients. They will be recognized during the OSU Agriculture Honors ceremony on Oct. 3.

OSU Agriculture Dean’s Dialogue event commemorates 30th anniversary of OKC bombing

Oklahoma State University Agriculture held a special edition of its Dean’s Dialogue series on Jan. 27 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building bombing in Oklahoma City. OSU Agriculture partnered with the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum to bring the Journey of Hope program to campus with special guest Blayne Arthur, Oklahoma secretary of agriculture. Arthur’s mom, Margaret “Peggy” Clark, was killed in the bombing on April 19, 1995.

OSU Agriculture names Whatley Award recipient
