On Sept. 11, 2022, over 150 participants from around the country came to commemorate first responders’ bravery and courage on the steps of Boone Pickens Stadium as part of the annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb hosted by the Oklahoma State University Fire Protection Society and OSU Firefighter Challenge Team.

City of Stillwater and OSU agree to re-open Hall of Fame Avenue

Officials from the City of Stillwater and Oklahoma State University announced Friday an agreement to permanently re-open Hall of Fame Avenue north of Boone Pickens Stadium as soon as construction of the more than $100 million west end zone project allows, most likely in 2008. In addition, the agreement also grants a permanent easement to the city for Hall of Fame.
