OSU students impress at Love’s Entrepreneur’s Cup

Oklahoma State University’s award-winning entrepreneurship program was on center stage Thursday night at the 2019 Love’s Entrepreneur’s Cup. OSU teams won first place in both the undergraduate and graduate High Growth divisions of the statewide competition.

For the past two years the 21-year-old junior has monitored seven small watersheds — including lands that have eastern redcedar, prairie and switchgrass — at OSU’s 1,820-acre Cross Timbers Experimental Range southwest of Stillwater as part of a long-running research study.

Argent Memorial Scholarship at the 2019 No-Dig Show in Chicago, Illinois, a recent international construction and engineering conference. The Argent Scholarship is awarded based on a student’s academic performance and an essay by the student on his or her interest in trenchless technology.

Shuodao Wang, assistant professors in Oklahoma State University’s (OSU) school of mechanical and aerospace engineering (MAE), has been awarded the National Science Foundation (NSF) Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Program award, NSF’s most prestigious award in support of early-career faculty. Wang joins Jindal Shah and Ashlee Ford Versypt, both from OSU’s school of chemical engineering, as a 2019 recipient.
