OSU graduate Wade raises Stillwater wildfire relief funds at Boston restaurants
Sarah Wade, a renowned chef and OSU graduate, raised money at her Boston restaurants to benefit United Way of Payne County after wildfires devastated Stillwater homes.
McKenzie Beesley, a hospitality and tourism management student from Sand Springs, Oklahoma, is one of 25 Outstanding Seniors named by the OSU Alumni Association.
Snow and ice couldn’t stop the OSU Competitive Sales Team from excelling in the University of South Florida’s Selling with the Bulls competition. OSU participated virtually, collecting several awards that include a first-place trophy.

OSU seniors Bryson Wolfe and Ben Simpson climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, one of the famed Seven Summits, during winter break. Although many in their group were experienced mountaineers, Wolfe and Simpson had a different story, using altitude training masks as they prepared in Stillwater.
OSU’s School of Accounting will induct Les Austin and Tom Franz into the Wilton T. Anderson Hall of Fame as Distinguished Alumni, while Jacob Dover and Blake Witten will receive Early Career Rising Star awards.

Dr. Matthew Rutherford, a professor in the Spears Business School of Entrepreneurship, noticed the word “risk” often appears in business articles without a clear definition. He teamed up with Spears Business Ph.D. alumni to classify types of risk, helping scholars and entrepreneurs gain a common understanding of the concept.
