CEAT highlights Jesse Langston in honor of Black History Month

Jesse Langston graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1985, with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Langston came to OSU with a scholarship intended for minorities in the engineering field. In the 1980s, it was difficult for minority students to get into the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math industry. This scholarship program recruited and retained Oklahoma talent in minority groups to become successful in their future engineering careers.

Two OSU students win international business plan competition in Toronto

OSU Research wins Hall of Fame Competition

CEATs Online Graduate Programs Jump in National Rankings

Oklahoma State University’s online programs from its College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology rose dramatically in the latest rankings from U.S. News and World Report magazine. The magazine placed the OSU programs at 16th in the nation, up from 37th in 2018 and 31st in 2017. OSU continues to have the state’s highest ranking for best online graduate engineering programs.

OSU's Imraan Faruque research recognized to keep beehive buzzing

The Office of Naval Research (ONR) recently recognized Imraan Faruque, assistant professor in mechanical and aerospace engineering and director of the autonomous physics laboratory at OSU, as one of 25 awardees of the 2019 Young Investigator Program (YIP). In addition to the recognition, the program also provides a grant up to $750k for up to three years to support a related research project.

OSU-USRI performs first-of-its-kind BVLOS flights

Oklahoma State University - Unmanned Systems Research Institute (OSU-USRI) conducted its first Beyond Visual Line of Site (BVLOS) research test flights on Dec. 18. The team operated unmanned aircraft within the national airspace system (NAS) at distances beyond the visual site of the pilot at the controls.
